The Boston Terrier is a compact, well-muscled and clean-cut dog breed who rarely sheds. Determined, strong and sturdy, yet affectionate and loving, the Boston Terrier is one of the most popular dogs. Intelligent and lively, this dog breed makes an excellent companion.

Brindle with white markings, black with white markings.

The Boston Terrier is a lively and intelligent dog breed who makes a good companion. Initially suspicious of strangers, the Boston Terrier is a good watchdog.

Care and Exercise:
Rub down the Boston Terrier with a damp towel several times a week. Bathe only when necessary. Check ears and eyes regularly. Trim nails from time to time. Boston Terriers are easy to house train. They learn well if their owner spends time with them. Regular walks or free play in a fenced yard will keep the Boston Terrier in shape.

Health Issues:
The Boston Terrier is susceptible to eye problems, breathing and whelping difficulties.
