Description:
The Bullmastiff is a powerful dog breed with a broad wrinkled head and a tapering tail. Alert, strong and protective and with endurance and stamina, the Bullmastiff is a natural guardian of the home and family

Height:
Male Bullmastiffs range from 25 inches to 27 inches. Female Bullmastiffs range from 24 inches to 26 inches.

Weight:
Male Bullmastiffs range from 110 to 133 pounds. Female Bullmastiffs range from 100 to 120 pounds.

Colors:
Bullmastiffs are usually shades of brindle, fawn or red and some may contain white markings on the chest.

Coat:
Bullmastiffs have a short and dense coat, which requires minimal brushing.

Temperament:
The Bullmastiff is a protective and alert dog breed who makes a good watch and gaurd-dog. Devoted and loyal, the Bullmastiff loves human attention.

Care and Exercise:
Minimal brushing of the Bullmastiffs coat is needed. A good rubdown with a rubber brush or massage glove will remove old dead hairs. Nails should be kept short. Diet and daily exercise are need to be balanced to prevent obesity. Bullmastiffs need daily walks or a lot of running space. Training: Obedience training should begin at a young age. A Bullmastiff is sensitive to the tone of your voice. They will do best with fair, stable and a consistent approach to training.

Health Issues:
The Bullmastiff is susceptible to hip dysplasia, cancer, eyelid problems, and gastric torsion.
