Staffordshire Bull Terriers are smooth-coated dogs, possessing strength, stamina and agility. Their head is short, with a broad skull and a distinct stop. Dark round eyes look straight ahead. Medium-sized ears are rose or half-pricked. The nose is black.

Red, fawn, white, black or blue, or any one of these colors with white; any shade of brindle, or any shade of brindle with white.
Smooth, short and dense.
The loyal staffordshire bull terrier grows to love its family and gets along splendidly with children. It can however be aggressive towards dogs outside of the family and difficult to housebreak. As a pupply the staffordshire bull terrier tends to chew quite a bit. This breed is obedient and very people friendly.
Minimal grooming for the Staffordshire Bull Terrier is necessary to keep their coat in top condition. Brush occasionally with a firm bristle brush. Rub down with a towel or chamois to remove loose hairs. Bathe only when necessary. Needs plenty of regular exercise which should consist of play time an daily walks on a leash. They should be kept on a leash in public places.
